of the Rooster at Northwest Regional Library from May 3 -
May 31. The exhibit includes a wide variety of Chinese art
including a clay tea service, a Chinese calligraphy set and
a number of carved curios, as well as framed prints and paintings.

Broward etutor offers free online homework
help in grades 4 through the first year of college from 2
to 10 pm, 7 days a week. The subjects include math, science,
social studies and English.
This service is available at all Broward County
Library locations. It is also available from any computer
with an Internet connection.

Painters of Cap Haitien: Haiti's First
200 Years Artwork Exhibition
Join us to attend the artwork exhibition opening
reception on May 6 at 7 pm. The artwork will be on display
from May 6 - June 24 at the African-American Research Library

Free Telephones for the Hearing Impaired
The League for the Hard of Hearing, Florida
will distribute amplified telephones to Florida residents
at no cost. The equipment is provided by Florida Telecommunications
Relay.
Telephones are given out every fourth Monday
from 10 to 11:30 am at Northwest Regional Library, 3151 University
Drive in Coral Springs.
Please call 954-731-7200 to reserve your telephone.
And, look in Bookings for additional telephone distribution
locations.

Asian Pacific American Heritage Month Celebration
On Saturday, May 21, enjoy the Asian Pacific
American Heritage Month Celebration at Northwest Regional
Library from 1 - 4 pm. This event will include Chinese Lion,
Chinese Folk, Filipino, Indian, Thai and Polynesian Dances
as well as Japanese Ikebana and Origami demonstrations. The
Norwest Regional Library is located at 3151 University Drive
in Coral Springs.
