StoryBook Festival
Children and their families are invited to a world of imagination at the Broward County Library StoryBook Festival from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on November 13 at the Southwest Regional Library.
The free festival will feature performances on two stages, local children’s authors, crafts, the Fantasy Forest, and much more. The first 2,000 children at the festival will receive a free book, courtesy of Union Planters Bank.

Jewish Heritage Month
More than 25 library programs will be presented in November in celebration of Jewish Heritage Month. Programs include an Israeli art exhibit and reception, a Family Celebration of the Jewish Sabbath and a book signing.

“What’s Cooking” Series Continues
Food for thought is on the menu, as the Florida Center for the Book continues its “What’s Cooking @ Your Library” series.
Broward etutor
Broward etutor offers free online homework help to students in grade 4 through the first year of college. This service is available at all Broward County Library locations. Plus this service is available from any computer with Internet access. For access outside of the Library, you will need your Broward County Library card number.
Broward etutor is available seven days a week from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. The subjects include math, science, social studies, and English.
Additionally, for assistance by Spanish speaking tutors in math and science, the service is available Sunday through Thursday from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Dial-A-Story
Available 24-hours a day, Dial-A-Story offers free 4-minute stories
seven days a week. Stories change weekly.
