BookFest, the Conference on Children's Literature
will be held at the Nova Southeastern University's
Rose and Alfred Miniaci Performing Arts Center,
from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm, on April 27. The
Conference features presentations and workshops
by nationally recognized, award winning children's
authors. The event is geared toward those who select
and provide books for children: teachers, librarians,
media specialists, childcare workers, and parents.

Information about the Rose and Alfred Miniaci Performing Arts Center on the Nova Southeastern University Campus
The Rose and Alfred Miniaci Performing Arts Center is part of the Alvin Sherman Library, Research, and Information Technology Center on the Nova Southeastern University campus. This exceptional, 500-seat auditorium is equipped with state-of-the-art lighting and acoustics, as well as a satellite downlink for viewing broadcast and transmitted productions. The facility is helping to enhance university curricular support and the improvement of the quality of life in South Florida. The Broward Center for the Performing Arts, the managing partner of the theater, is assisting Nova Southeastern to provide even more cultural programming opportunities for Broward County residents and university students and faculty members. Many quality productions have already taken place in the Rose and Alfred Miniaci Performing Arts Center, and yours can be one of them.
