Ella Jenkins

Called "the First Lady of children's music" by her admirers, Ella Jenkins has delighted generations of children and adults with her music and her personal appeal to people of all backgrounds. Her voice has been heard on Folkways Records and Smithsonian Folkways Recordings for forty-five years. Ella Jenkins received a Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2004 Grammys.

Dovie Thomason

This award-winning storyteller has been honored by Parents' Choice and The American Library Association. She is recognized internationally for her gift at both transmitting the oral tradition of her Lakota/Kiowa Apache native culture and transforming it for today's world.

Antonio Sacre

Born in Boston to a Cuban father and Irish-American mother, Antonio Sacre has been delighting audiences since 1993 with his touching and humourous bilingual stories, solo theatrical performances, and children's books and tapes. His fun-filled performances appeal to all ages. 

Jaime Riascos

Dynamic Jaime Riascos is acclaimed as the most important storyteller from Colombia. Jaime has performed in France, Spain, Mexico, Cuba, Venezuela and the U.S. He currently resides in San Francisco, working as a researcher and promoter of Spanish storytelling.

Diane Ferlatte

Vivacious Diane Ferlatte has traveled the globe giving storytelling performances to people of all ages. Spinning yarns from many cultures, Ferlatte focuses mostly on African, Southern, and African-American tales. Her numerous honors include the National Storytelling Network Circle of Excellence of Award. She lives in Oakland, California.

Geddy the Gecko

Geddy the Gecko, the famous gecko lizard mascot, performs a fast-paced, salsa-filled “Rainforest Fiesta Show” which includes skits, songs, and stories from the Rainforest, with non-stop audience participation and fascinating facts about gecko lizards and the rainforest. Super Geddy then breakdances for the Grand Finale.

Puppets to Go

Puppets to Go is a full-time professional puppet theater company that “educates the mind and entertains the imagination.” Their production of  the classic Aesop's fable The Tortoise and the Hare modernizes the great race between a loveable tortoise and an arrogant hare.
